Farewell to Erin (with free gelato)

Erin, our beloved Manager, has been at La Vita Dolce since we opened our doors over 7 years ago. She’ll be leaving for a new job in the nonprofit sector later this month, and we want to send her out with what is both a farewell event and also a celebration of all she has done for La Vita Dolce, and all of our stakeholders. Because it’s really so much.

Join us Thursday, July 21 from 1pm to 3pm on one of Erin’s last days to say goodbye, hear what’s next for her — and enjoy a FREE gelato while you do! No ticket or RSVP  required — just drop in and help us send Erin off with lots of love!

School’s Out Gelato Party!

Celebrate the beginning of summer vacation with us on Tuesday, June 7, 2:30-5p, at our School’s Out Gelato Party!

We’ll have a gelato topping bar, a raffle, and patio games set up for kids!

It’s $5 + tax for a scoop of made-in-house vanilla or chocolate gelato plus your choice of any and all of the toppings at our self-serve topping bar. No tickets needed, just show up and enjoy!

Wine & Gelato Pairing

Our first ever Wine & Gelato Pairing is a fun, social tasting event where you’ll enjoy 6 different wines, each carefully paired with a made in-house gelato or sorbetto. Tyler Morgan and Elise Kimple will lead the event, telling you about each wine and why we paired it with the chosen gelato/sorbetto.

Tickets available for purchase ($25) now at La Vita Dolce and limited space is available.

School’s Out Gelato Party 2019

Summer is coming and we know that the best way to kick off the long warm days is with our second annual School’s Out Gelato Party! Students, parents — or anyone who just wants to have a good time — is invited to join us on the Thursday before the last day of Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School classes for an afternoon of gelato and fun on our patio.

We’ll have a Gelato Topping Bar with a dozen different toppings — help yourself to any or all of them — games, music, and a raffle to win a gelato party at La Vita Dolce or other prizes for local treats. It’s $5 for a bowl of our made-in-house chocolate or vanilla gelato topped off with up to a dozen kinds of candy, whipped cream, cookie crumbles, brownies and more! Each bowl of gelato purchased gets you a raffle ticket and our patio of games and activities is open to all.

Summer is coming. We can taste it. (It tastes like gelato.)  And we want to help you (or your kids — or both) end the school year and kick off summer vacation the right way! On June 7 from 2:45pm to 5:30pm, La Vita Dolce is hosting an End of School Year Gelato Party. We’ll have a self-serve gelato topping bar with a dozen different toppings, raffle drawings throughout the event, patio games, and music to celebrate!

Students, parents — or anyone who just wants to have a good time is welcome to come celebrate with us!
