Join us as we taste our way through French wines. Led by sommelier-in-training, Tyler Morgan, this tasting features seven wines from Bordeaux to Sancerre and beyond. Tyler will provide both technical information and fun stories, and we’ll also provide a variety of cheeses, light bites, and palate-cleansing sorbetto.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased any time at La Vita Dolce or at the door until we sell out (limited space available).

This might be our favorite new weekly offer. Every Tuesday, one of our specialty drinks will be dubbed the Together Tuesday drink. 40% of all sales of the Together Tuesday drink will be donated to our current Together Tuesday nonprofit, chosen by our staff. From November through January, Haven House, the only homeless, runaway, and crisis intervention center for youths in the Triangle, is our Together Tuesday nonprofit. The Together Tuesday drink changes each week, so it’s a great opportunity to try new options and feel good about giving back.
While the full Wine Down Wednesday event is over until April 2019, we are still offering 50% off bottles and 30% off glasses every Wednesday, all day!

Thursday 10/25, 3-5 pmPaint a Pumpkin is one of our most popular family-friendly events of the year! We’ll supply everything you need — pumpkins, brushes, and paint — for an afternoon of festive fun. Seasonal favorite drinks and treats (think Spiced Pumpkin Lattes, Spiced Apple Chai Lattes, Pumpkin Pie gelato, and pumpkin beer) will be available to fuel your creativity! $4.25 for a pumpkin and painting supplies, until we sell out.

Summer is coming. We can taste it. (It tastes like gelato.) And we want to help you (or your kids — or both) end the school year and kick off summer vacation the right way! On June 7 from 2:45pm to 5:30pm, La Vita Dolce is hosting an End of School Year Gelato Party. We’ll have a self-serve gelato topping bar with a dozen different toppings, raffle drawings throughout the event, patio games, and music to celebrate!
Students, parents — or anyone who just wants to have a good time is welcome to come celebrate with us!

We also have holiday gift cards, available in any amount, and coffee available for sale by the pound or half pound, whole bean or ground. All items can be purchased in the cafe; gift cards can also be purchased and sent online.
Large Coffee Gift BasketA while back, we showcased a presentation, “Coffee Concoctions To Make You Feel Good,” at Southern Village Wellfest. The aim of our presentation was to help attendees learn how to best meet their dietary goals while enjoying a delicious cup of brew. We also wanted to encourage those who enjoy drinks with milk and flavors to discover new ways to mix it up so they have options when they want a new treat.

We love the holidays at La Vita Dolce. My favorite aspect of the season is the general inclination toward joy and giving that comes with it. The holiday spirit is absolutely a real and unstoppable phenomenon. Every year I witness it glowing and spreading all around me. People smile more, they seek out opportunities to help others, and they generally seem to give and receive love more freely. It’s magical. So this year, we decided to dedicate a week to events and activities designed to compliment and spread the spirit of the season.
